December 14, 2016: Onion Browser 1.7.2 fixes the crash-on-launch issue in 1.7.0 and 1.7.1; this primarily affected users of older, 32bit iOS devices such as iPhone 5 and older, iPad 4 and older, iPad Mini 1, and etc. Full details on this update and all prior updates can be found in the release history. Users are encouraged to update via App Store.
November 30, 2016: Onion Browser is not affected by the recent zero-day exploit against Tor users. The exploit targets a Firefox bug and affects the desktop Tor Browser Bundle; Onion Browser is not affected because it is based on the iOS WebKit engine, rather than Firefox.
